April Financial Update!

Month 4 of our 2012 financial goals flew by.  This was not a hot month for the Darby household as we experienced some unexpected expense.  Some progress is better than none:-)

1. Get PMI taken off of our Home Loan -Done in February!

2. Pay off Alex's small student loan ($641.00 to be exact)
I made an extra payment on this in April.  The total is down to 325.64.  Just a little bit more, and I will have this out of the budget line!

3. Save enough money to replace Jolie's car by November 1, 2012 in cash!
We put hardly anything in this fund this month as we had several car repairs come up on Alex's truck.  He had to have new tires, new headlights, and a new battery.  Can we say craptastic month for the truck?  Even so, we were able to add up to 24.5% of our intended total!
